Our History

SBS Systems Uganda Limited was incorporated in Uganda in 2004 as Southern Business Solutions Uganda Limited and Tri-Continental Africa Limited (TCAL) which was incorporated in Uganda in 1992 and SBS Systems Botswana Limited who are the leading IBM Business Partners in Botswana.

In 2005 the shareholders agreed to merge the two companies and from the 1st January 2006 the company was to trade under the name Southern Business Solutions Uganda Limited. In 2018 the company changed names to SBS Systems Uganda Limited and was fully taken over by Ugandans/local ownership. The company is now 100% Ugandan owned and based.

SBS is committed to providing best of breed total solutions to all its clients whether small organisations or multi location enterprises. This includes the complete range of IT hardware and software ranging from laptops and desk tops through to high end UNIX servers with the appropriate application and operating software and networking solutions. By working in close co-operation with leading IT vendors such as IBM, Lenovo, DELL, EMC, Tripp-Lite by Eaton, Eaton, Cisco, Siemon, Giganet and Microsoft we are able to ensure that we are always offering the very latest of relevant products.

Today SBS is committed to delivering integrated solutions which include products, and services that customers and partners can build on and grow with. Through constant innovation, SBS is pushing the boundaries of Information Communication Technology and also helping others to create them.
